Daily Southeast Region Eggs
Prices are steady. The undertone is steady. Supplies vary and are
generally moderate for current needs. The Southeast shell egg inventory is
up 0.9 percent when compared to the previous week. Offerings are moderate.
Demand into the retail channel is moderate to at times fairly good. Food
service demand is at times light to moderate and improving. Market
activity is slow to moderate. In the Eastern region, breaking stock
supplies are moderate for the light to moderate demand. Light type hen
offerings are adequate; processing schedules are less than normal.
