Prices are steady. Trade sentiment is mostly steady. Retail demand is
mostly light to instances moderate and somewhat disappointing. Food service
movement ranges moderate to good. Offerings are moderate to fully adequate
for the larger sizes and remain light for Medium. Supplies are moderate to
heavy. Market activity is slow. Monday's Southwest shell egg inventory
increased 1.1% when compared to last week.
Shell egg marketer's benchmark price for negotiated egg sales of
USDA Grade AA and Grade AA in cartons, cents per dozen. This
price does not reflect discounts or other contract terms.
